Horizon Charter Schools serve approximately 2,900 students in Placer, Nevada, El Dorado, Sacramento, Yuba, & Sutter Counties. Horizon Charter Schools are public schools and charge no tuitions or fees. Our personalized learning approach targets students' interests, abilities and aptitudes. From Kindergarten to 12th grade, Horizon provides each student with comprehensive quality learning choices and educational pathways. Parents and students partner with highly qualified credentialed teachers in home-based/independent study programs. Additional hybrid options include Partnerships for Student-Centered Learning's Lincoln Montessori Community Cooperative, Accelerated Learning Academy in Roseville, Sacramento Leadership Collaborative, Sacramento Academy of Enterprising Youth, and the Roseville Academy of Math, Science and Engineering.
